Full-Time, fixed term contract to June 2019 with possibility of renewal

Are you a highly skilled project manager with a passion for harm reduction and music festivals? NUAA is embarking on an exciting project providing peer support and education at music festivals in NSW. The project, funded by the NSW Ministry of Health, is initially for two years with strong possibilities of extension.

The Organisation

NUAA is the state-wide drug user organisation in NSW. We are independent, community-based and peer run. Our aim is to advance the rights, health and dignity of people who use drugs across NSW.

The Role

The DanceWize Coordinator will work with the management team and external partners to implement Harm Reduction Victoria’s DanceWize program in NSW. Key tasks will include:

  • Work with external stakeholders to deliver world-class peer education and support
  • Work with community members to develop resources
  • Plan and deliver services at festivals across NSW
  • Monitor and report on program progress

NUAA is looking for an experienced project manager with a strong track record with good understanding of and connections to the music festival scene. People who identify as drug users are encouraged to apply. NUAA always welcomes and encourages people from the Aboriginal community to apply. We will be looking for someone that can hit the ground running in September.

Salary and Conditions

Salary will be commensurate with the SHCADS Award level 6 – 7 with a negotiable package– as a health promotion charity, NUAA can provide access to non-taxable fringe benefit salary packaging.
